Det finnes tusenvis av fjell på Svalbard å utforske. Fjellene er normalt rundt 700 – 1000 m høye. Med den eksklusiviteten innebærer det at vi får ha fjellet for oss selv. Noen turer starter rett i bakgården og vi kan kjøre bil til startsted. Disse turene er kjempefine og passer for nybegynnere såvel som erfarne.
Velger en tur med snøscooter som transport kjører vi snøscooter ut til foten av fjellet. Du trenger ikke erfaring fra før av med snøscooter, men du må ha med deg førerkort for bil. Er du usikker på snøscooterkjøring kan du få være passasjer.
The guide meets you in the morning at your hotel for a short briefing of weather, snow and avalanche conditions and the plan for the day. We then head out for a fantastic experience in Svalbard’s wilderness. The duration of the tour varies depending on the chosen route.
On this tour you do not need much experience with ski touring, but you need to have normal good physical condition.

Equipment and rental
We recommend wearing woolen underlayers close to the skin, covered with one or two layers, and finishing with a shell cover, i.e. gore-tex jacket. In your backpack you should have your down jacket. You will get a snowmobile suit for your ride. You can see the packing list on the link below.
Both the ski equipment and the avalanche equipment can be rented. Backyard Svalbard provides avalanche equipment for 500 NOK pr day. Sportscenteret provides ski equipment for 800 NOK pr day.
