This 5-hours trip is designed to be possible for beginners and anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the glaciers at a comfortable pace.

Small groups –
big adventures

We only have small groups to maximize the adventure. It will be a minimum of 2 persons and and a maximum of 8 persons.

The hike involves walking on snow and ice and gentle slopes at a steady comfortable pace. Wearing snowshoes or crampons (depending on weather condition) makes it easy to move across the glacier and the guide will match the pace and route to the group’s ability and weather conditions. If you enjoy a long walk you can join as it is – it is not a race to the top.

The trip includes:

Transportation to and from the hotel

  • Tailored Norwegian field snacks, and hot drinks
  • Spikes or snowshoes, depending on conditions.
  • A Svalbard guide with safety equipment
  • Search- and rescue insurance

Price NOK 1890 pr pers, minimum 2 pers. Private options and special requests can be accommodated upon inquiry
