Program

Easy walk through the streets of Longyearbyen

We pick you up at the hotel and our journey begins with an easy walk through the Arctic streets of Longyearbyen. The walk is approx. for 1 hour and 2-3 km. You will see colourful hourses while your local guide shares stories of wildlife, history and daily life at the edge of the world. During winter you will feel the crisp Arctic air awaken your senses as you prepare for the adventure ahead and we might even get the chance to spot northern lights if it's still during polarnights. The summer will give the possibility for a sunny walk and we will be able to see the glimpse of the ocean waiting ahead.

Polar plunge for the brave

For many guests, this part is a must-do bucket list adventure and few can say they have swum in the Arctic Ocean just approx 1300 km from the North Pole . When we reach the destination point it's now time for the highlight, the Arctic polar plunge. Standing at the staircase looking at the nice cold water, your heart might be pounding, you will take a deep breath and swim into the (maybe icy) water. The cold shocks your senses, then transforms into exhilaration and joy. A cold water therapy you can almost say. You emerge renewed: Strong, calm and wide awake to life. You will not be staying in the cold water for a long time

Arctic Sauna

Step into warmth and comfort after the Arctic swim. The panoramic sauna offers sweeping views of fjords and glaciers, a perfect contrast to the cold plunge. Feel your body relax, your heart slow down, and your mind fill with serenity. In summer, the golden glow of the midnight sun lights up the landscape and a moment of pure Arctic magic can happen.

Diplom

As the tour ends, you'll receive your official Polar Plunge certificate. Let this be a proud reminder of your bravery and unforgettable swim at the top of the world. Celebrate, share the stories, and carry the memory of this Arctic adventure whereever you go.
