Welcome to an incredible sailing experience in the Arctic. Special made tours designed for your request. A well experienced sailing team and a sturdy and comfortable sailing ship, exploring the high Arctic fjords and sea.

Departing from Longyearbyen, we are sailing along the west coast of Spitsbergen. We are sailing with small groups, limited to 6 guests, which ensures flexibility in the choice of landing spots, maximizing time spent exploring onshore. Our professional guides and sailing crew are happy to welcome you onboard.

Bespoke wooden interiors, warm and welcoming, Varuna is a flagship for sailing expeditions on Svalbard. The 22m long ship is suited with four double-berth cabins, each with en-suite heads and showers. All cabins have individual heating, lights and power supply.

Are you enjoying good food and good wine? First mate and chef will spoil you with delicious meals using local specialties coupled with carefully matched wines.

Depending on the length of the stay, we will explore different places.

We starts the tour in beautiful Isfjorden. Here we can visit the abanonded Russian settlement Grumant, or sail across to the former whaling station Finnset. There are many good anchorages in Isfjorden, among others Grønnfjorden, Trygghamna or Billefjorden. The wildlife in Isfjorden er rich, and we recommend to bring a camera to catch the moments.

If you choose a longer stay we can sail the west coast to Prins Karls Forland and Kongsfjord, Krossfjord and Magdalenenfjord. When in 79 degrees north, you can enjoy the striking scenery, dominated by peaks and glaciers running into the sea.
