I'm active in everyday life, but I don't usually do long or demanding physical activities I exercise regularly and can comfortably stay active for a few hours I regularly do endurance activities such as hiking, cycling, running or skiing I'm used to long, physically demanding days - and I can do it again the next day

You've been out being active all day and reach a beautiful viewpoint. Your friend says: "Should we go a little further?". What sounds most like you? I'd ask how far "a little further" actually is I'd probably stay here. Sometimes you've already found what you came for I'd check the time, conditions and my energy level and then decide I'd be curious to see what's around the next corner

You've been hiking, running or skiing for several hours. There's still a long way before camp. What's your reaction? I'm ready to call it a day, take a long break and set basecamp here I'd take a short break and then I would keep moving I'd keep going at a steady pace and focus on getting there I'd keep moving, maybe have something to eat and knowing we'll get there soon and then I can rest

There's no hot shower waiting, no comfortable bed and no restaurants waiting at the end of the day. What sounds most like you? Wonder why I agreed to this I like the feeling of being completely disconnected from everyday life. I'd probably enjoy the simplicity of it I'd be fine with it as long as I knew what to expect

You wake up on the third morning and unzip your tent. Your legs are tired and the wind has increased. What sounds most like you? Can I call an uber? Let's see how the day develops Time to eat, get ready and get moving This is what I came for

You are skiing for several days and you need to decide what you need for the trip. What sounds most like you? I like pack carefully. I'd rather carry less and make every item count I'm fine carrying what I need. I just want to know what's in my bag I actually enjoy being self-sufficient and prepared for whatever comes that I don't know of I'm more interested in the journey than thinking about the logistics

Everything you need has to be packed into a sled you'll pull behind you. How would you feel about carrying a 20 kg sled or pulk while skiing for several hours? That would be a completely new level of physical challenge for me It sounds challenging, but I'd be willing to train for it I'm used to physical demands and I regularly do long activities with a heavy pack or other resistance I've done similar demanding activities and feel comfortable carrying a significant load for several hours and repeating it over several days

The weather changes and your planned route is no longer the best option. What sounds most like you? No problem. Changing plan is part of the adventure I'd be disappointed as I had my heart set on the original plan I'd want to understand the alternatives before continuing I'd focus on making the best of it
